I have talked about this before but I think it bears repeating. One of the main things I have noticed about this new toned and strengthened body I have, is the awareness of how my muscles move and how I feel. For instance, as a nurse, my back has been misused and hurts at times. After sitting for a while now I may notice it feels stiff. By changing position and stretching to one side, then another, I can hear pops and feel relief! I hope this doesn't sound strange and appreciate if others feel same, and reply. I also after doing strength training have consistently been working had at stretching. It feels so good. I appreciate those muscles and love how they respond to the weights and stretching. But at 61, I feel good. I feel I am at least as strong, but definitely more limber than when in my 40's. The popping joints in my back remind me of chirapractic adjustments and the pops that happen then, so I've decided I'm adjusting my own back. (??)
