Someone brought in a tub...yes TUB...of sinful treats to my office today (TRACY!!!!!) and I promptly took them off my desk & set them back in the dining area. Problem solved? Not quite. I knew they were back there. I just couldn't STOP knowing...so I went & checked out the serving size & calories. 210 calories didn't seem like that big of a deal. So why did I feel the pangs of guilt?
Deliciousness doesn't HAVE to make me feel guilty! I decided RIGHT THERE that I would take a serving (two pieces) & eat one piece at breakfast & one at lunch. It makes the tastiness last longer...and spreads out those calories a little bit too :) Tracking my food helps me see and be mindful of what I'm eating. Plus it lets me fit in a treat or two.
