Constantly searching for a method I will stick with. I recently discovered the Dukan Diet and have read the book. I have 3 other people in my life that are giving it a try too, so I think that will help.
If you haven't heard of it before, it's basically a low fat, high protein plan, but what's most appealing to me is that it's not a rest of your life diet in the fact that you can never eat carbs again. There are 4 phases, with the first being the most restrictive. I am currently in the first phase, called The Attack Phase. Basically lean meats and low fat dairy is permitted and one must drink lots of water and consume 1 1/2 tbsp of oat bran every day. I am supposed to be on this phase according to Dukan's website for 7 days. He has a place to put in your personal information and it gives you a more personalized plan with a proposed date that you will meet your goal or "true weight" as he calls it.
