1st Blog - Reminder to Self - Think Positively :)

Something I have tested and know is true, "I feel the way I think." If I let myself think negative thoughts, I'm going to feel depressed and/or anxious. Sometimes when I'm feeling poorly, I ask myself, "what are you thinking, what are you telling yourself?" It's surprising how automatic my thoughts are and many times I'm not even aware I'm thinking negatively. I'm a work in progress and am moving in the right direction...I just want everything in the past to be erased. Rationally, I know that's ridiculous. The best thing for me is to continue putting one foot in front of the other, doing the necessary work to change my life and continuing down my path of healing.
