Since I wrote the last blog my husband and I have lost weight. But we still eat too much. Last night we went bowling with our dive club members and one of them has lost weight by getting some kind of shot every day and a once a month shot. She only eats 500 calories a day. Wow. I think anyone would lose weight eating only 500 calories. Today my calorie count is almost 600, that will include my dinner with a 3 oz boneless pork chop. I just want to try it for today. Other people have done the same weight loss with the shots, it's supposed to get rid of all the fat. Some have lost a tremendous amt of weight but can they keep it off. I hope so for their sake. I do better when I'm strict with myself. If I give in a little I'm finished. Then I can make excuses in my mind why it's ok to just have 1 more. Most of the weight loss for me has been my stomach, yeah. The swimming has helped. I have a treadmill but since I tore my knee I've been hesitant to get on it. I was doing great and raised the incline, not that much, my knee hurt but I thought it would get stronger. DUH. I didn't get the operation because I had to work. I have my own business with a friend and we can't take off in the winter. I work even when I feel crummy. Airborne has always helped me get thru the day.
I do some walking with Scooter but it's even too hot for him. And he's more interested in looking for cats. My husband and I are more committed to losing weight than ever before. We like the way we look now and I hope it gets even better.
