Health-wise anyway. We're dealing with landlords that have no respect for tenants rights, right now. So we're going to be looking for a new place starting Saturday. We really like our apartment & hate that there had to be issues. They are older & are really nosy & the man came into our apartment under false pretenses of saying he had to "measure" some things for work he wanted done. Well, he came in, walked into two rooms & counted the walls (?!?!) and then went back downstairs. My boyfriend was the one who was home yesterday, I was at work. He brings his wife upstairs & she's literally banging on the door. Dan opens it up & she starts berating him. Now, we had some dishes on the counter & a garbage that was ready to go out. I'm not even kidding, that was the absolute extent of messiness in our place. And she flipped out & started saying really mean things.
Well, I can't take their craziness anymore. They did not give us the MINIMUM of 12 hours notice to enter the apartment that they have to give us. Instead they just flip out because we had some dishes that needed doing & a garbage that was full. She's off her rocker & she claims she's not nosy when she has asked me really personal questions & rude questions time & time over. It just stinks so bad because we really like the apartment. Oh well. My only big issue now is that when we leave, we are going to make sure to document every nook & cranny, so they don't have a leg to stand on if they try to not pay us our security deposit. If they try, I'm taking them to small claims. So fast. They are insane.
On the other side of things. Today is a good day because I'm down 3.5 pounds!!! :) I've been doing it by eating healthier, logging my calories, drinking more water (less soda, etc.) and getting a bit more exercise. It's stuff like this that makes me motivated to keep it up!
