Ugh!...Tired of it!

Tuesday, June 07, 2011

..What am I tired of?
I am so tired of not being able to go for a walk every day. I have posted blogs about this in the past..About getting blisters on my feet. I have tried several different shoes, but it all ends up the same..Extremely sore feet with blisters..mainly the part under the toes, and tonight the shoe rubbed a spot on my ankle. I'm not talking about long walks, either...I went for two walks, one this morning and one this evening, for twenty minutes each.
Just so discouraged..And I don't have the money to go get fitted for some expensive ones, either.

Okay, vent over. I do feel better...

Wish my feet did!

With your permission, I'll post your blog on a couple teams, Natural Remedies and The Step Diet, to see how others overcame this problem. I had something similar but does NOT sound like to your same degree; I have wide feet and I solved it by buying men's tennis shoes. I usually wear a 9, but for some reason Nike's NEVER fit comfortably, so it's usually larger than 9 in Nike, and I am more happy with New Balance wides. However, with any brand, if I buy men's in size 7 or 7.5, sometimes wide and sometmes regular, they fit sooooooooo good.

The last blister I had was on the bottom of my toe that is next to my pinky. I don't get foot blisters other than that. And on the opposite foot I have plantars fasciitus. So I do sympathize with your issue of being able to walk!

it wouldn't be related to the diabetes would it? My hubby's mother has type 2 diabetes and her feet give her a terrible time...I wonder if it's that your feet are more sensitive because of your diabetes?

So quick to to blister that's not on!

Hmm...maybe Cornstarch to minimize the friction?...

Bummer. I've started buying running shoes a size bigger than I normally wear. They give my tootsies room. You might want to try that next time.
