Day Three and Going Strong

Short one today. I tend to ramble in my blog posts if you haven't noticed.

Well, it's day four of being back on my normal, healthy eating routine and I have to say I've been more than a little surprised with my total lack of temptation. I work in a grocery store, as I mentioned before, so I'm constantly surrounded by all these goodies that I could so easily stuff into my mouth. The pizza that we make in the prepared foods section alone used to send me into an obsessive frenzy.

But after going off of Medifast and just sticking to calorie counting and exercise, I've noticed that those things don't really bug me. At lunch I'm fully aware that I could get a slice of pizza and just eat lighter for the rest of the day to stay within my calorie limit, but instead I usually opt for a Luna bar or a salad. I don't know how long this will last, because we all get cravings no matter how healthy we're being, but I'm excited that it hasn't bothered me so far!

Sunday will be my real test. That's my weigh day, and last week I weighed in at 153 (lowest I've ever been). The following Monday, I binged like mad and nearly broke 3000 calories. Tuesday, I worked out for an hour and half to make up for it and started this new phase in my diet. I've refused to get on the scale until this coming Sunday, and I'll admit I'm getting a little nervous.
