to track or not to track, that is the question.

I have found for myself (as do millions of others) that I must track..no excuses.
Take the past 2 1/2 weeks. (PLEASE TAKE THEM!) It started simply..first -"oh I know what I have eaten today, I know I didn't go over"...then " I con't have time for this" to "OMG what have I done?"
For me I just became complacent and then I was baking for my nephews wedding (150 mini cream horns, 8 nut rolls, 6 pounds of molded chocolates, 200 mini sandwich cookies,200 kifli and icing 120 cut outs .. and cutting all the fruit
for 150 all in 4 days!) I didn't have time to drink much or to eat anything but broken cookies. Logging was out of the question. I just did NOT have time!! At the wedding I was too tired to eat much of anything, but I did make good choices. And I danced!! 4 days later my son and the love of his life got married and of course.. I baked him a cake!
Then the aftermath came..I had time to eat!
But alas I had gotten out of the habit of tracking and it all went to "hell in a handbag" I was HUNGRY!!
before I knew what hit me I was gaining!! (Really? like you didn't see that one coming.)
I now have 1 day of tracking, measuring and eating right back under my belt ( I know that is not much but it is more than a gesture) And each day I track I will get stronger and be able to brace for the graduation party
I am giving my son in 2 weeks and I will be strong enough to bake for my son and daughter in-laws wedding celebration in 2 months
