Dukan Diet - Transition Phase + Bad Weigh-in

Well, it has happened. I transitioned and had a 1.4 pound weight gain... BUT I also was super super cranky last night, and now I have huge red mountainous pimples on my face. I am thinking that transition phase + pms (and definately like a 5% transition/95% pms) accounts for the horrible feeling I got when I stepped on the scale.

I am trying to spin it in my mind like won't it be fantastic to have a really big loss when all this bloating water comes off after the hormones calm down, but in reality it is a little bit disappointing. Luckily I still have my steam from just starting, and losing a good chunk of weight in the beginning.

I am going to trust the plan, trust myself, and stick with it.

I have been not exercising because the book said it can add extra stress and really isn't necessary in the first phase, but I think today a nice brisk walk outside might be what I need to lift this cloud of bloaty, zitty, weight-gain-disappointment off my shoulders.

    At that "time of the month" you can count on a couple pounds of water, so expect a loss when it's over. When your cycle is over you may have lost what you gained and then some. Stay encouraged.
    I have never heard of the Dukan Diet. I going to have to read up on that diet.
