New meaning to "long" run

I am so excited! Now, it may not sound like much to most people but I tried something different today. I have done many runs, I follow the run/walk method and I have been excercising consistently. Today I decided to try to run 2 miles without stopping. It seemed like a daunting task at first and at about 0.3 miles
I was not sure I could do it. But I kept putting one foot in front of the other, made it to mile 1 and kept going. I DID run 2 miles without stopping and did not even feel like I was dying! I finished my 7 mile run with the run/walk method and felt on the top of the world! My run ended with Rascal Flats "Unstoppable"--perfect.
