I Can Never Tell My Husband

Friday, May 13, 2011

So many SP recipes that I've discovered that include ingredients that he "hates," but that he has declared..."Delicious!!"
The latest 'no tell the ingredients' is Pong Pong Pork Chops. He loved it and is having the leftovers tonight for dinner with a big salad. The DELICIOUSLY DECEPTIVE BANANA BREAD was a huge hit and I'm making it again today..using my NEW NINJA!!!!! I made my first Smoothie this morning ... yes, my FIRST!! It was delicious. However, my Ninja did not come with a cookbook and I cannot imagine the powerful 3 different sized container machine is only for Smoothies. Anyone have a suggestion? A good "Blender" cookbook?

Joke for you:

An old, blind cowboy wanders into an all-girl biker bar by mistake. He finds his way to a bar stool and orders some coffee. After sitting there for a while, he yells to the waiter, "Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?"
The bar immediately falls absolutely silent. In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says, "Before you tell that joke, Cowboy, I think it is only fair, given that you are blind, that you should know five things. The bartender is a blonde girl with a baseball bat, the bouncer is a blonde girl, I'm a 6-foot tall, 175-pound blonde woman with a black belt in karate, the woman sitting next to me is blonde and a professional weightlifter, and the lady to your right is blonde and a professional wrestler. Now think about it seriously Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?"
The blind cowboy thinks for a second, shakes his head, and mutters, "No, not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."

Sorry, my blond friends..but it really cracked me up!!!!

That is funny! My Gram used to do the same thing to my Poppy. She would sneak all the things he hated into recipes. hehehe. I have never laughed so hard when I found that out.

This makes me want to get a new blender and do something terribly exciting with it now! Your blender enthusiasm in catching! Hey, I may be blond, but that was a funny joke.
