I don't know why

...but whenever I get into a relationship my fitness and nutritional goals fly out the window. And so it is now that I'm involved with Ed, a sugar-holic with kids who love fried food. (They're all very thin, btw.)
I've been on a 3 month binge that's resulted in about a 10 pound weight gain. I refuse to weigh myself at this point. My clothes that no longer fit tell the tale.

I'm writing this because I have to admit it to someone. I want to get back on track. In spite of continued overeating I've been walking daily with the hope that something will take hold and I'll get a handle on this problem.

Tough stuff, but it can be done, I know it.

    I SO totally get what you're saying, but you have to do what's right for YOU. Maybe it's time to have a sit-down with Ed and family and let them know that you'd like some help with the food issue, maybe encourage them to eat healthier without necessarily "depriving" them, and then tell your self that all that fried food is hurting you, both physically and emotionally. I hope these words help!

    This is a tough spot to be in...keep working it for you & maybe try and recruit some help from Ed and the kids. If they are there for the long haul they will be willing to compromise a bit & that will be better for everyone involved!! Way to go on keeping up with the walks! Happy Sparking!!
