Positive Attitude Challenge...Day 6
Today we are to write a letter to ourselves to have on hand when we are feeling down or in a rut. So here goes...
Karenmarie wake up and smell the roses okay you can’t smell LOL You have come so far why to do you pick on yourself so much . You are your biggest critic .Four short years ago you were 194 and couldn’t beath when walking up stairs Now you can run for a bus without dying. You went from drinking water and sugar to a smoothies what is only fruit , milk and yogurt. You actually eat salad twice a week. Okay so you not where you want to be but if you was there you wouldn’t have anything to strive for and half of a journey is getting there . So enjoy the place you are in life now. That always been your problem you always looking forward to potential problem instead of enjoying how far you come. Well Karen I love you and so to other. Bye love yourself
motivational quote and funny lines I hope
When the clouds of sorrow gather over us, we see nothing beyond them, nor can imagine how they can be dispelled; yet a new day succeeded to the night, and sorrow is never long without a dawn of ease. ~ Dr. Samuel Johnson
No great man ever complains of want of opportunity. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Do not be discouraged if your plans do not succeed the first time. No one learns to walk by taking only one step."-Catherine Pulsifer
An Effective Workout
Jack, decidedly overweight, and not at all bright, asks Doctor Mayo at Portchester Health Centre, for help in losing weight. The doctor advises Jack to run 10 miles a day for 30 days.
This, she promises, will help Jack lose as much as twenty pounds in a month.
Jack, naturally very excited, follows Doctor Mayo's advice to the letter, and, after thirty days, he is delighted to find that he has, indeed, lost twenty pounds.
Delighted, Jack 'phones Doctor Mayo and thanks her profusely for the wonderful advice which had produced such a tremendous result.
At the end of the conversation, however, he asks one last question, 'How do I get home now, Doctor, since I am some 300 miles away?'
everyone haver a great day
