Why is everything on here set on Eastern Time??

Thursday, May 05, 2011

Last night (May 4) about 9:PM I finally got the chance to sit down and update my Sparkpage information. I was slightly irked when I signed in and was told that the date was May 5. This meant that I have to start over AGAIN on my "streaks". This is the second time this has happened to me. There are times that I am very busy and just don't get a chance to log in until later in the evening.

Isn't there some way to follow logging in that doesn't rely on a specific time zone?? How about using a 24 hour ticker? Anybody else have this problem or is it just me? Any ideas?

If you go to your start pageand go under the Account/E-mail Preferences link just under your name, you can change the time to your local time. That should help.

Yeah that's what I do. I guess the log in streaks shouldn't be that important, but it just irritates me to know that I DID log in but didn't get "credit" for it. Geez that sounds petty doesn't it?

It does seem like a huge difference when you look at Pacific time vs Eastern. I am only an hour behind, but I can see how you could get bit at 9PM. Except for the log in streak, can't you just change the day on your spark point page to enter something?
