What do you do with favorite magazine articles?

Monday, May 02, 2011

I am now receiving 4 (I think) sports related magazines. I love to read about running, triathlons, strength training, & biking! But, the pile is getting out of control!!!

In each magazine, there are usually a few articles - how to's, workouts, etc - that I want to save. But, how do I save them? Some of them are on one side of the page, but others are on a front/back.

Do you save magazine articles? photos? race ideas? etc? If so, how do you save them? I'm even thinking about a filing system by category (like those I just listed). Or some kind of binder... but that seems more dificult unless I just have one side of hte page facing out. The file seems less useful... possibly. Or, maybe that's perfect???

Any ideas would be most appreciated!!!

I like to find digital copies and save them to my e-mail accounts.

I used to tear them out and save them. I have since realized that I don't need to do that because I will never (and I do mean never) look at them again. If you really want to keep them invest in a scanner and put them on your computer. Then you can give away the magazines to your local library (and get a tax deduction) so someone else can enjoy them.

I read them, say "cool!", close the magazine, then quickly forget about them!

I do the same as listed below. I tear out my faves and put them in a binder with page protectors. Recipes go into a cook book with page protectors after they've been tested so I know if I really want to save it :).

I put some things in a binder in a page protector. I also opt for on line versions of magazines when offered. That allows me to save things I want for later use.

I usually tear out the pages and use a page protector and then put them in a binder. I have it separated by success stories, recipes, workouts etc.
