Thank you both for your comments and suggestions on how to eat healthier. Yes i do have a sweet tooth and I usually can alternate fresh fruits in its place for the processed stuff. It's just that chocolate and ice cream are sort of hard to replace :) Regardless, I do want to be healthier and eating healthy is just a mandatory part of that so I will make baby steps towards it. Thanks again for the words of encouragement.

The great news making eating better easier is that fresh veggies are coming, and as for the butter, salt and pepper, check out some books on spices and which ones pair well with veggies. Can bring a whole new perspective to eating vegetables without the typical (heavenly) butter, salt and pepper.
Grilling veggies also makes them amazing.
    Good luck.

Great to hear you have a goal of wearing a 2-piece this summer! That's my goal too!
Great to hear you are getting more serious about working out!

    That's emoticon

I'm wondering if you have a sweet addiction...I used to...it'll go away. You said you have to give up all the "fun stuff" but eating healthy doesn't have to be boring. Find things you enjoy as much as or maybe more than the sweets and candies you've been eating. Do you feel a high when you eat sugar? Do you crash afterward? Pay attention to the way your body feels after eating healthy? Do you feel good (not just the accomplishment of eating healthy) physically? I think you'd like the book Women, Food, and God (not a religious book). It deals with food issues and paying attention to our bodies, what makes them feel the best, intuitive eating, etc.

I wish you all the best! I know you can reach your goal and wear a 2-piece this summer! I am working on my goal too--I joined the Spring into Shape Bootcamp challenge on SP.
