The past week and a half has been a bit of a blur. I don't think I have known if I was coming or going. Last Thursday my sister went in to have her baby (it was a beautiful baby girl) and I was planning to spend the night with my nephew so her husband could be with her. I worked until 1:00 on Thursday and then made the hour plus trip down to the hospital and her house. I don't think I ate anything from 1:00 that afternoon until 1:00 the following day. Everytime I tried to eat I got side tracked by my nephew and I would give up or he would want to share my food with me and eat most of it lol. So Friday night when I got back home I was exhausted from lack of sleep and starving from lack of food. I have to admit I ate an entire small pizza with the exception of one piece that night it felt like I had never eaten before so not good but not the end of the world either.
Moving on to Sunday, my landlord called Saturday night to see if she could come for an inspection because our lease is up at the end of May and we need to sign a new lease. My house was in no shape to have anyone checking it out, not that it was dirty but it needed a good spring cleaning and I wasn't about to let my landlord see that lol. So all day Sunday and part of Monday and Tuesday after work was spent getting my house in tip top shape which in the end is great because my spring cleaning is officially done YAY!
I have gotten absolutely no exercise in in about the last week and a half and I have a 5k this Friday that I'm honestly a little nervous about. I for the first time had actually set a goal for myself for this one and I'm not sure I'm going to make it with the lack of training lately. Chinese food for lunch today certainly doesn't help the cause either. TOM is right around the corner and I can really tell this month, my cravings are going banana's and I am completely exhausted bad combo lol.
Tomorrow is my Friday as Good Friday is a company holiday for us. I have a job interview tomorrow morning for a different position within my company. Looking forward to it but also a little nervous because if I get the job and I accept it I have 6 months to pass a test to get a Series 6 license or I no longer have a job
very scary but a risk I may be willing to take if everything else seems great. Wish me luck!!
So for the rest of the week I'm going to TRY and watch what I am eating and get back on drinking all of my water I've really been struggling with that this week to. I just purchased some Amino Energy from BodyBuilding.com to help with the energy boost before workouts so I'm hoping it gives me the extra pick me up that I need.
