I have not had much SP time, but I have been Sparkin'! I've been staying in range every day. My weight is holding at 190...hoping to break into the 180's any day.
Today was a rough day...my car didn't start this morning...so I had to take DH's car to work. Work was a little frustrating because I am trying to accomplish a large task but had a lot of distractions and interruptions...keeping me from getting maximum work done on the project. Then I had a particularly difficult individual come in and give me a hard time...nice. But I handled it. Honestly, I took some time to do some deep breathing and took a break away from everyone and just did some boxing moves to release some stress. It worked.
We finished the living room this weekend. We put up pictures on the walls and some baseboard and added a piece of furniture and a lamp...and voila...it's done. I really like it. It feels very homey and pretty and "done." Here are some pics.
I really like the new brown walls...they were off-white before. The tan is so warm and relaxing. I like it a lot.
I did begin cleaning out my closet but have a lot more to do. It's harder than I expected it to be. It's actually hard to let go of the fat clothes. I'm doing pretty good with the pants. But the tops...they still look okay...but are roomy/big. I think I will try again to go through those. I can see that I am doing myself an injustice in keeping the roomy/big tops. They do not flatter the figure that I am achieving like a better fitting top would. So, I will have to work on this some more this week. I think a good test for them is to put them on and then hold my arms out to the sides. If the top fits up my arms and into my armpit...they "fit"...if they bag or hang away from the arms and armpit, they are too big. Yeah, they look "okay" with the arms down at the sides, but when you hold the arms out, you can see that they are really draping.
Before, when I was doing my progress pics, I was wearing the same top and pants as I started in. This time, I decided to change that, too. I wore the clothes that really fit and show off my new curves. Here are my 9-month progress pics.
So, onward...with SP and with my home makeover. Next, we are working on the bathroom. I have the paint purchased and a new mirror for it. Now, the work...need to sand the ceiling and paint the ceiling and the walls. That will be a nice workout, I guess.
I have been struggling with getting to the Y for workouts. Tonight, I did a Wii workout. I enjoyed it. I need to do some soul-searching and see what I can come up with as far as a solution to getting to the Y or changing my workout routines so that they WILL happen.
I'm enjoying Biggest Loser tonight. Hope you all are having a great week. Spark on!
