One week down

Ok, so its been a couple days longer than a week, but I've never been very good about blogging. So far I'm enjoying the program and it seems to be working. At the one week point I had lost 2 pounds. Which is less than I hopped for since in general people loose big the first week of a diet. But I think since I had already been exersizing, and probably didn't decrease my calories that much I got a small decline.

I've added strength training this week and basically hate it. I'm glad I have video guides to get me through it or I would probably not do it. I don't find it enjoyable like I do cardeo, it doesn't make me feel good like yoga does. In fact I felt nausious for a few minutes after I finished my strength training yesterday. I did it before breakfast, after my yoga, and was concentrating on my core so that is probably why I had that reaction, hopefully it will go away as I get stronger.

I haven't had any trouble keeping to my calorie count. I had it set high the first week since I over estimated the calories burned through cardio, but adjusted it this week and was only over the new goals by less than 20 calories one day last week. Since I was within my goals at the time, I'm not concerned about it. I'm sticking to the middle of my target this week.
