I Am Encouraged!

I've been making little changes but they are building on each other and all together it is huge!
I quit drinking diet soda. I love the bubbles but after a conversation with my Nurse Practitioner I decided it wasn't good for me and likely it was causing weight gain. I also bought a new collar and leash for my little 'nephew' Happy. After school each night I take Happy for a walk. I began at 15 minute walks and am now up to 20-25 minute walks. On top of this, I've been walking the staircases at school. I started with 2 flights and by Friday I had climbed 8 flights of stairs!
I feel happier and the scale is going in the right direction.
That's it folks, nothing earth shattering in terms of the world but it's a start and I am encouraged.
