Quats? Lunges? Do I have to????

Quats and lunges! These are two exercises I can honestly say " I hate doing ". I just don't know why it is, but it is. Maybe because they hurt my knee's all that bending and all. I am sitting here tonight trying to figure a way out of the strength training class I have first thing in the morning. The instructor has a thing for quats/lunges. The first half of the class is these two exercises. Up and down the gym for half an hour. Booorrring!! But now that I have better control over my weight, I have learned to respect the power of strength train. I was thinking about throwing 52 cards on the floor and playing 52 pick up, at least I would be putting some fun in the game. I could even pick them up dancing to my favorite tunes. LOL
I am so happy with myself because the things I have tried dearly to stay away from ( elliptical ) I have been challenging full force. I finally got on the elliptical and seriously went to work. What a ride. I didn't know how difficult that machine was until today. I was a calorie burning machine. That is on the list of exercise for tomorrow also. I am still trying to find my way around those darn quats and lunges though!!!!
