Wanna Move/Looking Ahead!

I can see my desires changing. Tonight, I had planned to leave work at 5. However, a last-minute assignment kept me there until 7:15. ...kind of disappointing. As I was working on the project and feeling some frustration, I knew I was getting to the end of the project and would go home soon. I'm very pleased that my desire and vision of going home and recovering from the frustration was not of me having a binge and comforting myself with food. My vision was me going home, firing up the Wii and having the boxing match of my life...probably using that pent up frustration to score a new high score in boxing! Sweet!

I'm watching Biggest Loser now...and it's all I can do to sit here and blog. I want to fire up the Wii, doing free walking during the show and some other cardio during the commercials...and that's what I'm going to do as soon as I finish this.

I'm really happy about this. Getting myself out of "sedentary mode" is a major accomplishment. I'm so glad that my desires are starting to line up with my needs for movement. Woo hoo!

I'm hoping that following along on these new movement desires will spark my weight loss onward.

I was doing some analyzing of my journey on the way home. My next mini goal is one pound away...190. I'll be 53 lbs down. Then another 1-lb mini goal...189...being in the 180's. Then a 4-lb mini goal...to hit 185. Then a 2-lb mini goal...to hit 183...60 lbs down. Then a 1.5-lb mini goal...181.5..my half-way point! Then a 1.5-lb mini goal...180. 180 is a big goal...that's where my BMI switches from Obese to Overweight. I'm really looking forward to that one.

From 243 to 180 is 63 lbs...it takes me over half-way there. It moves me from Obese to Overweight. The next BMI move is from 180 to 150...30 lbs...where I become "normal." Then the next 30 lbs takes me to goal. So, this initial 63 lbs is the biggest part of my journey...and I'm getting there...11 lbs to go to get there...ahhh...it's happening.

    You are right! It is happening! Good for you with all your goals and finding new and inventive ways to keep moving!

    That is huge that you didn't turn to food for your frustration at work! Good for you!

    I know that is when I used to eat a lot too, now it seems I went reverse and don't want to eat. Which I am happy about it!!!

    Gotta love the mini goals they make it so much easier to stay motivated don't they! Instead of looking at the big number you can look at the 1lb you need to get to the next big achievement, that overweight BMI is getting so close, I'm looking forward to that one too! We can celebrate it together it's going to be awesome, just think how much we'll have done for our hearts just by moving into that overweight category!!
