Confession time .

Monday, April 04, 2011

Confession time . I been basely alone since Thursday night. Since that time I have eaten most of a big bag a chips, four pop, a h ugh pot of chili, 3 piece of pizza, a hot dog, 10 glasses of juice, ice cream and was on top of some good healthy meals that my portion was too big at. I just I am not ready to control my eating without some guidance. I was lonely and bored so I eat. Well that didn’t hurt but me . So I am going to wipe myself up pick myself off the floor and see what I learn this weekend
But before another confession. I been telling you how my wii is go great for exercise. I till think it is but I need more. After walking up a couple of hills in the last week and walking to church yesterday I realize I NEED more. I NEED SOMETHING FOR STAMINA. So I am now going to throw some workout dvd into the mix with my wii.

No action, whether foul or fair,
Is ever done, but it carves somewhere
A record, written by fingers ghostly,
As a blessing or a curse, and mostly
In the greater weakness or greater strength
Of the acts which follow it.
~ Henry W. Longfellow.

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. ~ Jim Ryan
Nothing would be more tiresome than eating and drinking if God had not made them a pleasure as well as a necessity. Voltaire

Girl been there- had 3 plates of food at the last happy hour I went to- just continue on the right track and you'll be alright! We all have times when we indulge and those are ok occasionally. emoticon

You can take control of your eating. I, too, eat when bored and it is difficult to control. First, no food is allowed to sit on the counter in the kitchen. It has to all be out of sight. Meals are served on a 9" lunch plate - and no second helpings. When I am bored, the kitchen is the room I stay away from. Go for a walk or find something to do with my hands helps. For exercise, walking outside is great exercise, especially if you have hills. You can do this!!!

If you've done it once you can do it again! And you will.
You'll get to the points to where you come to SP instead of eating when your alone and say I AM WORTH IT, & PUSH THAT FOOD AWAY!

My husband works out of town so I know what it's like to get sucked into eating when you're bored. I try to find things to keep myself busy when he's gone it seems to help. Good luck!

I walk at least 3 to 6 miles every other day on my treadmill. I walk a couple times a week with my husband, usually a 6 mile walk. The outside walks kick my butt. The treadmill walks are great for cardio but the outside walks really use all my body parts with the arms swinging, longer strides lots of different movements then the treadmill. It's good to change things up every couple days.

Confession is good for the soul.

Okay... so you had your food party and like all parties that is now over and you are ready to get back on the healthy eating wagon!

I think that is a good idea about adding some workout dvd's to your wii workout. I bought myself a wii and used it for a while, now... life has gotten in the way and it sits unused. What games do you use regularly to exercise?
