Day One of Rededication to Health Plan

Day One:

Using the menu from the 17 Day Diet as a guide, I am going to try to stick as close to the diet as I possibly can, but we do not have money to buy everything that the diet calls for so I may substitute things as needed but will be determined to stick to the portion sizes recommended by the diet plan and stick to like objects. For instance, This mornings breakfast called for: 2 scrambled egg whites, 1/2 a grapefruit, and 1 8oz cup of Green tea. I did not have 1/2 a grapefruit. I have some bananas and apples so I ate: 2 scrambled egg whites, 1 8oz. cup of Green tea, and 1 small apple.

I know that there is much more sugar in an apple and not the acid of a grapefruit and this may be needed for a chemical balance they are trying to achieve for cleansing of toxins in my fat cells but this is what I am able to do.

I hope to add the YMCA later today for some exercise.

    Sounds like a good plan there. It is hard to follow a specific diet like that. You don't always have or can afford what they want you to eat; and sometimes you don't like what they have on the menu. I know you will do great. Just watching what you are eating and tracking it will help you reach your goal.
