Hi everyone - been a little while since I have blogged so I thought I would just give a little update.
My first 5k of the season is this coming Saturday, I'm pretty nervous as the training has been as good as it could be, I've been slacking a little more than I like with it but I take complete ownership of it. I am also very excited for Saturday's race, there is something about running a race that just makes me feel so happy and alive. I'm super happy to be sharing this seasons race list with one of my closest friends it makes it that much more exciting to have someone you are close with to share in the excitement of it all.
I have been doing ok with my eating, I certainly haven't been perfect with it but I am completely ok with that. I don't think I could ever truly deprive myself of anything, that would only leave me to binge eating and I don't need that to happen.
So this week will be trying to get as much training as I can in before the race and keeping on track with smart food choices and making sure I am getting plenty of water in each day.
