Learning more about SB changes

I was so grateful today for other SB people here on SparkPeople - it helped so much to have someone with experience to give me an idea of what I am supposed to be doing. I'm glad phase 1 is two weeks so I can used to it.

I haven't had any dairy (except some cheese) since Monday but learned today that I can have 2 milk/yogurt a day. I am soooo glad! I was missing my yogurt! So I got some and had one serving as an afternoon snack... I think my glucose spiked a little though. I will have to keep an eye on it to see how my body reacts if I have some tomorrow.

All in all, a good day! emoticon emoticon

    I just got off the Phase 1 portion. I know what you mean about other SB peeps here. I really needed the encouragement and the team leaders were fabulous about providing it ( not to mention our other SBers).

    I enjoyed my milk too. I am learning to like greek yogurt, but I am so used to Activia with fruit added that plain yogurt, even with vanilla and spenda, just didn't seem to be a treat. - more of an ordeal.

    I tried some of the phase one desserts with yogurt and ricotta cheese-not bad. I preferred the ones that are baked though.

    I loveLOVE the recipe section on this site. Just type in South Beach and a whole list comes up. The Chock Full or Veggies (in the book as well as on this site) has become a staple. sooooo good. the parmesan crusted tilapia. YUM!….Have a good time discovering this realm. I have lost weight and inches and my craving for sugary desserts! emoticon
