Trying to Workout More

Spring is finally coming to Massachusetts! It has been a long cold winter. It has been like living on a glacier. I have spring fever and I am looking forward to getting outside and walking again. Because its still a little arctic outside, today I decided to try one of those latin dance DVDs. I thought it would be fun and break up the monotony of the treadmill. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. It was fun and before I knew it, 45 minutes had gone by!

Getting motivated to workout is still one of the hardest battles I fight. In the past, I have used every excuse in the book to justify my not working out. Including not having time or just being too plain tired after dealing with work, home & family. I have learned alot over the last 2 weeks by reading and visiting other people's Spark Pages. I learned that, for me, the best time to workout is in the morning. I tend to have more energy (can't use the too tired excuse) and it gives me time to think and plan the day ahead. I also learned to vary my workouts. I get bored very quickly and lose my motivation if I don't enjoy the workout.

Gotta keep the momentum going! Looking forward to spring, more time being spent outdoors and increased physical fitness!

    My best time to exercise is about 11pm...odd i know-but i have a 1 yr old and that seems to be when I work out. =) Yay for Spring, I'm hoping it helps-seems to be already with helping me have the motivation to do anything...including work out
