Exercises for people over 300lbs

Today was a good day as usual, walked aerobically for 30mins and did 15mins of strength training. I am plumb in my stomach area and my lower back and waist. I've been exercising faithfully since the last part of December. I've lost 10lbs so far. My legs and arms have noticeable shrank, but my problem areas don't seem to be going any where. Does anyone have any exercise suggestions for people over 300lbs other than walking? I can't do sit ups at all right now. I'm trying very hard to stay focused and positive. Oh yes, I can't swim either., never learned how.
