Finally feeling better. Have not worked out for two weeks though and body feels pretty sluggish. Going to start back to gym today.

I am ecstatic that I am back under 200 today. Noticed something interesting the last two weeks while not working out. It seems I have lost more weight while not working out which doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Wonder if anyone else has noticed that? It will be interesting to see what happens after I start working out this week and weigh in next Monday.

I filled in my time while not at the gym with working on my family tree. It is so addicting. I have made several contacts with distant relatives I didn't know anything about which was quite exciting and touched base with a long lost cousin.

Have also been trying new recipes. A couple we like last week was grilled mahi mahi with roasted red pepper sauce and pesto and a new recipe for chicken cacciatore.

I have been faithful to tracking my food and watching my calorie differential each day. This is really helping me stay on track.

Thanks for checking in on me and providing constant motivation. Your support and helpful comments mean alot to me.

Hugs, Betty emoticon

I lost weight while not working out too. I looked into it and found out that instead of just counting calories....I need to do net calories according to my exercise. I use myfitnesspal for that. Goodluck with everything.

Sometimes if you workout too much it has a counter productive effect. Eat too little while working out and your body holds on too all the fat thinking you ate in starvation mode. Hope this helps. When you don't work out you can also lose some muscle which will slow your metabolism down the road. Good luck
