I feel like I owe my spark teams a appolize l. Hear I am telling people how to lose weight and I gain three pounds in two days. Actually really don’t think it what I am eating. I been doing stretching for one of my team and strengthening exercise for the other what left tlittle ime for aerobic. So I am going to step up the aerobic and see if the weight come off by Saturday. But for now I am 157 whatn I haven;t been higher than 154 for about a month. Well here go me trying to kick my backsides .Wish me luck

    Your quotes made me laugh. Increasing the cardio is the best! Stretching is always good for our body and then add strength training as muscles burn more fat. Be patient and it will all work out. This is the third time I have been on the CATS team and each time I think there are some different people which is fine. Last challenge, I was so motivated to log in all my fitness because the team was so competitive. As soon as I finished, I would log on........Sometimes the teams had met the goal by Wednesday. Perhaps they added stretching for this challenge to include some of us that have that as their main form of exercise for health reasons.

    Everyone has to figure out what relationship to the scale is best for them. When I don't weigh often, I tend to ignore what I put in my mouth. Then I don't want to face those numbers when I know I haven't done well. Other times when I weigh frequently, I can get discouraged by a higher weight. For some reason, I always weigh less on Mondays than on Saturdays, when we have to log on our weight. Now I'm trying to hold onto this pound I lost so I can post it Saturday and say emoticon to it forever!

    Just keep making your daily progress and eventually your clothes and the scale will show your progress. emoticon

    Scales are just fickle. They go up and down by a pound or two all the time. Next week will be better.

    You will do better this week. The last week in February I gain 5 pounds. Picked myself up and joined the March challenge. Just remember muscle weighs twice as much as fat. That time of the month fluid retention. You weight more in the afternoon than the morning. You can do this! Just keep moving! You did not let our team or me down. Its just a way for us to help and support each other. It's fun getting extra points with Anna and the other players. I don't want to loss points for having sweets or that soda. All we can do is try our best! Go orange butterfly! lol

    Honey, don't worry so much about a flux in weight. If you're doing a lot of ST your going to build muscle and at first that generally gives a gain on the scale but then the fat starts disappearing and you start losing weight again. The fight between build muscle and lose fat is why we hit plateaus.

    You have come so far in the year plus that you've been on Spark People, you've learned a lot and found things that don't work and things that do work. You've shared your experiences and inspired others (Don't you give me crap about not being inspiring you've inspired and kept me going!).

    Personally, 99% of the time when I peek at the scale on Tuesdays it is always a gain from Friday. Normally because I have bouts of constipation and indigestion if I don't remember to keep track of Fiber and get it near the range but my body balances out and moves on. Tuesdays are generally a horrible day to weigh in so don't do it.

    You know, I think our weight also fluctuates as we work at losing it. I'm not sure how much a week you normally lose, but be encouraged to not make your goal too high, if it isn't the norm. I'm not saying you won't lose it, but, keeping your goal attainable is positive, and then if you go beyond it, even better. So, you gained some weight, could be due to many things. I hope you lose it again, just don't punish yourself. Make your attainable goal and reach for it. It's ok to encourage others on this journey.It's part of the community. The truth of the matter is we are all on this journey together, and sometimes we have hills or bumps, just don't give up :)
