I have come out of hibernation mode (which was a shorter period this year, thank goodness) and am ready to get back on track to losing weight.

I am looking in all kinds of mirrors and there is no other word for what I see but FAT!!! I hate it so much and hate myself for not being disciplined enough. FAT FAT FAT FAT! If I were the wicked queen from Snow White, this is what the mirror would say to me.

I have to keep looking in that mirror. Perhaps that is where the strength and discipline lie.

You need to start looking into a different mirror. Get a decent size piece of cardboard and cover it in aluminum foil. Then think of ALL your POSITIVES attributes - whether they be physical, mental, spiritual - good things that your family and friends love about you. Write those words down on paper, cut them out and tape them to the "new" mirror; the one that shows what's on the inside as well as the outside. Hang that mirror up on the wall and stay away from the other mirror that is sending you negative thoughts! emoticon Pat

That is not you. You are Done Being the Fat Girl, remember? Start doing what you'd do if you were fit. Go get it!

Just remember it takes time to get our lives on the healthy train more consistantly. Set some small goals and go from there. It is great to reach goals and gives you incentive to go on! emoticon

The first step is realizing you have a problem. Yay you did that. The rest will be easy to do by taking one day at a time and one step at a time. Best of Luck to you... emoticon
