Proud of Daughter
Sunday, February 27, 2011
This morning when I came downstairs I was surprised and had as my husband put it "my socks knocked off". Spread out on the dining table was my youngest daughters ribbons. Yesterday was the district photography competition at her school. She won 5 first places, one honorable mention, 2 Best of Shows, and Overall Champion. I saw the pictures in her portfolio for the first time and they were amazing. She has such a talent and eye for photography. Things I would have never seen or thought to have photographed.
I had my 3rd session with my personal trainer this morning. She gave me another workout. So now I have 3 strength training routines to alternate with cardio.
The rest of the day was pretty quiet. I worked at my desk and did some end of month paperwork, then took a 1.5 hour nap.
Church was great tonight. It was a wonderful conclusion to a week where my personal Bible reading(in Exodus & Leviticus and the end of Matthew), the Women's Bible Study lessons concerning salvation and the pastor's sermon (PROPHECY FULFILLED, REDEMPTION COMPLETE )all corresponded together. God's plan of salvation is so awesome! During communion the song "See the Lamb" by Dennis Jernigan was played. I was filled with such thankfulness for God's love for me, my eyes teared up.
