High Carb Day

Another quiet day working on the sampler - finished it.

I was munchie today. I am sooo glad there were no cookies or quick breads in the house!

Tonight my husband got home early and we decided to go out to eat and go to Sam'sClub. We were going to go to Red Lobster, but when we got there it was packed. So we decided to go to Mimi's Cafe. I had only eaten around 500 calories for the day and was hungry (remember I had the muchies!). The carrot raisin bread was delicious. I had the French Country Beef Gratin and a salad. I haven't had potatoes for quite awhile.

I know I went over my carb count. But, it was just one day. I did stay within my calorie limit though just barely.

A) Go to Balance Fitness at least 3 times a week emoticon; emoticon
B) Do at least 5 days of cardio emoticon; emoticon; emoticon; emoticon
C) 3 days of Strength training emoticon; emoticon; emoticon

Daily: 2/25
A) Practice portion control emoticon
B) Drink at least 8 cups of water emoticon (drank 11)
C) Blog emoticon
D) Log food/exercise emoticon
E) Exercise for at least 10 min before I get on SparkPeople emoticon
F) High protein/low carb emoticon

    Oh those crazy carbs! You were really on the low end of your calorie count by dinner! No wonder you were hungry...I would be too!

    You enjoyed a nice evening with your guy and that is worth alot! You have the right attitude about how you are choosing throughout the day, and you are right, it's one day. It's about balance and enjoying the blessings of good food in wise portions.

    Looks like you have more thumbs up, than down, so you are definitely headed in teh right direction. Calories are calories. So don't beat yourself up too much. You stayed in your calorie limit which in the end is what really matters. I cannot go to Mimi's and resist their French Onion Soup!!! I'm glad we dont have one anywhere near me!!!

    I try to stay under 40 net carbs daily and I have been sick and for some reason I have eating pure crap, Pizza, takeout chicken, chineese, chips. I feel bloated and bad, why do we do it....
