Sometimes it's an effort but worth it!

I'm pushing myself to get out there and walk, right now it's the only exercise I can do without feeling like I've been held under water for an hour, but, walking is invigorating and I'm hoping the more I do it the more stamina I get.

Cutting back on foods is not that hard until evening when I sit down with a cup of tea and the craving for a sweet hits but if I'm exercising I guess one little cookie can't hurt, we'll know after Saturday's weigh in.

Hope all you girls are doing well. It's chilly out there again and I'm wishing for the warmth, funny how easy it is to walk for an hour when I'm walking on a beach - all in the mind I guess. Well I'll have to picture myself on the beach.

Good luck.

Great job. And I'm with ya - cutting back on eating is easy enough, until the evening. Ugh - stupid cravings!! LOL.

Keep on keeping on - and enjoy those "beach" walks, even if they're only in your mind's eye! :)

Good for you for getting out there and walking! And the more you do it, the more you'll be able to do. So go ahead and walk on the "beach"! emoticon

As everyone said, as you keep moving, your stamina will increase as well! I just took a walk with my kiddos that was difficult several months ago. Today, I hardly noticed the GIANT HILL! Ok, I noticed it, but it was easier to stay upright and not push so much into the hill!

Absolutely the more you do the more stamina you will get. Great job going out there and doing it even when you are not feeling well. No worries about the cookie. Everything in moderation. I do not think it is good to just cut everything out, I think well definitely for me, he sets me up for failure. So enjoy your cookie and feel better!

Slow but steady wins the race. I know the craving for a sweet very well and switching to healthy snacks doesn't always satisfy me. If you can limit yourself to 1-2 cookies then go for it!! emoticon
