3-D Mammo

Hi All: Our area, upstate NY, just got the new 3-d machines two weeks ago - had my mammo today - ALL GOOD!! Its nice to know that you have the latest equipment when you're going through or maintaining treatment.....you all continue to be my inspiration each and everyday....I carry all of you in my heart....off to workout so I continue to be healthy!!! emoticon

    I was just reading about the 3-D mamo machine approval. I will sure be looking for one when it is time. Wonder what is the difference in the 3-D and the MRI where you lay on your stomach and let your breasts hang down for imaging? I would prefer a little radiation as possible.

    I'm not at all familiar with the 3-D machines. Of course, with having had mastectomies, I need not be familiar! LOL
