Boring walk turns exciting!

Yesterday, I head to the track at the YMCA for my daily walk when I hear all of this commotion. At the Y, the track is on the upper level and the basketball court is on the lower level. I look down from the track and notice about 50 or so Navy men. Yum :) They are playing a very competitive game of dodge-ball.
I begin my walk/jog routine which at first starts off normal but then as I start getting into a rhythm I realize that I better speed it up or I'm going to get picked off by the ball!
As the men are trying not to get picked off themselves, they are using the ball in their hands to deflect a ball that's coming their way. Every time they do that, the deflected ball comes shooting up high, hitting the ceiling and ricocheting all around. OMG, I'm gonna get picked off!
Okay, I'm going to keep my composure because these are Navy men. A lot of them. So, at the same time that I'm trying not to get hurt, I'm trying to be cute. There is a larger than life sway to my hips. Do you now that my side actually hurts from that sway this morning?
So imagine me walking fast (to avoid getting hit), swaying my hips (to attract the eye of maybe one of the 50 men) wearing gray clothing at 100lbs overweight (I must look like an elephant) my heart is pounding (I'm not sure if its because of the fast pace or fear for my life).
Looking back on yesterday, I laugh now. It was a great workout. I hope they are there again today!
p.s guys thanks for serving our country!
