Last night I had the munchies. I couldn't satisfy them no matter what I ate or how much water I drank. I tried to take my mind off of my hunger by doing different activities but nothing seemed to work. So I gave in. But instead of eating the entire can of chips and entire bag of chocolate, I measured out 1/2 serving of reduced fat chips and 1/2 serving of valentine m & m's. That took care of that salty/sweet craving that my body wanted so desperately. I wrote down the calories in my journal so I'm fully aware of what that craving will cost me on the track this morning. However, I still feel very proud of myself for this accomplishment.
