Updating.. at the end of a LONG week

Thanks so much for your encouragement :) I needed to put on the brakes in my life, but didn't feel permission to do so because its been a VERY busy 3 weeks. However, I found two days to just do the essentials, and tend to myself. I'm feeling SO much better. I have faith that everything that HAS to be done will be worked out, and that I'll do a much better job of taking care of myself. The break from exercise has been awesome! My knee is no longer stiff and difficult to stretch. My marathon shoes are more appropriate for my over-pronating feet.. so that should help as well. I will be returning to exercise on Tuesday :)
This Saturday, I handed out water and valentine's day treats to my fellow runners, along with my pace group. We had a great time, and I remembered the best thing about volunteering is realizing that you are helping someone else do their best.. every time someone said "Thank you for being here".. I felt like a million bucks. I thought, of course, why wouldn't I do this? It was VERY good for my soul.
I'm feeling much more balanced. I'm ready to eat balanced meals again. I woke up this morning desiring breakfast.. not candy.. a very good thing. I made the breakfast I was planning for tomorrow, be forewarned it is an indulgence meal.. not one I'm suggesting for weight loss! :) Here it is:
Scrambled eggs (egg whites, one brown egg)
Trader Joe's parbaked roll (finished baking it in oven so it tastes very fresh)
Filled with butter, applewood smoked bacon, and some mozzarella cheese.
Scrump-diddly-umptious ;) I'll be making hardboiled eggs later today, and will cook turkey spaghetti (with Dreamfield's pasta) tomorrow morning. By Tuesday or Wednesday, I will have some new recipes to share with you (because I will need to REALLY shop again..so I can eat!).
