Pity party has ended...

Time to get off the stick and move forward. Baby steps. Nothing off the wall. tracking food, water and exercise. Getting back to the basics.

Last weekend I started purging my house of stuff. Too much clutter was overwhelming and had created a jumbled mess inside if that makes any sense. I started in my sewing room. Out the door went 12+ years of quilt/craft magazines. Some of them hadn't been off the shelf in years. With each item tossed in the toss bin my shoulders seemed to relax, I took a deep breathe and tossed out more. I was actually able to condense in down to 1 regular closet and a few boxes under my sewing table. Hubby repainted the walls a calm blue with white trim. He Cleaned the carpet and hanged new curtains. Today I finished putting away the rest of the items that was in the dining room and straightened the rest of the house.

Downloaded 9 weeks of Chubby Jones Couch 25K podcasts. Next week I'll begin week 1. I've talked my baby sister, Red into doing the Nashville Women's half marathon Sept 24th. I imagine we will mostly walk but either way we will be moving so that's a good thing.

We will have our #2 grandson, Kayden tomorrow for the day. It's suppose to be in the mid 50's. Hopefully after nap time we can go to the park and he can play on the playground.

The plan this week is to drink the water, stay within calorie range, excerise minimum 10 minutes a day and ST 2 days.

Off for a bit of me time in my clean sewing room before hubby gets home from work..

    Good job on the purge. Getting rid of clutter often translates into success in your nutrition/fitness. Don't ask me why - it just does!
