2011 Update

Hello everybody! It's been quite a while since I've been back here. I keep trying to get back into the groove of things but I just can't seem to get the ball rolling. I plan to join the gym again soon. I need to manage my time better. I started a new job last June and now I've been working some late hours, 12-8:30. It's thrown off my routine a lot. I hate eating a late dinner and I'm not a morning person so I have to learn to wake up early to get my fitness on. While this may not be challenging to others, it is to me. I prefer working out later in the day but not too late, i.e. 9 pm. :-/ Hopefully it'll all work out for me. I know I'm going to have to put in a lot of effort to get started again. In the meantime I have managed to maintain my weight. I always seem to linger around the mid 180's, however this is still not acceptable or even healthy. I will try and keep you all updated on my progress. emoticon

    Great to see you back! I know what you mean about not being a morning person. There's no way I can make it to the gym on a regular basis, so paying that much money a month isn't worth it to me, even though I would LOVE to be able to go! Wish you the best of luck, I know you can get into the swing of things!!

    nice to see you back! I haven't been doing so hot either. But I gotta get my butt into gear since myfirst 10K is this Sunday. I've been training a little, but no where near where I should be...so this week I gotta bring my A game!!

    I can relate to NOT being a morning person!! :-) I have to workout in the evening during the week. I have to get up at 5:30 for work so there's no way I can get up an hour and a half before that to workout! LOL

    I think each person is different and you have to do what works for you!!

    Maybe you can make one goal this week that you want to tackle? Like going to the gym three times. Once you get there- you'll be able to get back in the routine. :-)
