To My Old WW PP+ Board Members

Sorry to my new SP friends. I just got a little angry after visiting my old WW board.

OMG, I have been traveling and just opened up this home laptop for the first time in three months, with my bookmarked tab pages, and decided to check out what my old WW PP board was discussing. Are you kidding me? Over two months later and people are STILL having problems with PP+?

Look WW cheerleaders, there is a PROBLEM here. STOP denying it. Please stop telling people that they can expect a gain because they EXERCISED - this is anti-WW messaging.

I've been a devotee (and cheerleader) of WW for over three decades. It wasn't always easy with every program change, BUT within a week or two, I adapted, appreciated, lost weight, and eventually understood and grew to love every change.

I gave the PP+ six weeks and knew it wasn't a good plan for me. Am I abandoning WW forever? Or bashing them for their new plan? Absolutely NOT. I know that they are always tweaking and I will be back.

In response to LEMUS00 (who works for the biggest software company in the world), like the OP, I love you, too. LOUIS, I work for the world's largest database company and there is no need for more than one single database to produce what LEMUS00 proposed.

As for me,I canceled my WW online membership and moved to SparkPeople.com and resumed my loss of 1-2 lbs per week.

Again, I want to reiterate, I am NOT anti-WW nor PP+. There are so many posts here that confirm this new program was/is exactly what so many members needed, and I was excited to read their reports of joy.

I can't speak for anyone else, but here is why PP+ doesn't work for me:

I have always eaten 5-9 servings of veggies daily, but not so much fruit. Zero fruit pts made no difference to me.

I need my whole-grain carbs (brown rice, whole wheat pasta, oatmeal, bread)

I don't have a cholesterol problem, but the new acceptance of high-fat meats in their recipes bothers me.

I do not like that the WW Online tracker dropped the tracking counts for whole grains and healthy oils.

To summarize, I lost 16 pounds between early Sept and late Nov on Momentum, but hit erratic, crazy losses/gains for the next six weeks after PP+ rolled out.

I'm doing well with 1-2 lbs losses a week over on SP, but my heart will always be with WW. And I'm looking forward to the next new WW plan -- that I know will happen.
