I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for their kind words/comments that resulted in my Before & During post to somehow be a 'popular blog post' on SP. emoticon emoticon

All of the comments have been so overwhelming, I just don't know what to say. I never thought of myself as motivational for others, so reading some of what you all had to s ay is just so unexpected. It was a hard thing to do, for me to post that before picture, but it was very cathartic as well. Knowing that it might make a difference for someone else? That is just.... overwhelming. That's the only word that seems to be able to surface right now.

So, now that my 'awards season thank you speech' is done (it really does come off a bit campy, and I'm sorry for that!) it's back to the bump & grind of every day life.

This last week was a tough one as we had a fun winter storm blow thru town that resulted in my being without power for about 24 hrs. Not so friendly on the diet/exercise front, believe you me! However, I think I made it through fairly well... only a couple of 'cheats' and now it's time to get back on track. I've met one weight-loss goal, and am pretty firmly now in the 140s. However, I'd love to be able to lose some more, especially around the middle. Hopefully the weather will cooperate enough so that I can get some workouts in this week, whether it's just the elliptical at the gym or an early morning spin class. We shall see!

So, there you have it. Again, THANK YOU to everyone, and here's to a fantastic week!
