So, although I have re-incorporated more fresh veggies and whole foods into my diet, I have still been eating too much butter, mayonnaise, and refined bread products (which sounds really gross when you put it that way, but has been tasting pretty darn good!) I have had some great nutrition days and some lousy ones, but I AM moving in the right direction. I have been drinking too much and have put a moratorium on drinking home alone. It was nice for a while, but may turn into something more if I don't stop now, so I am. I have started P90X again, though I have not had it in me to do it every day yet. So much snow shoveling lately! I have been up and down emotionally. I am getting though this, though just when I think I have made a big turn and am ready to go full steam ahead, I realize I've really only got partial, intermittent steam!
I've lost 1.6 pounds and a half inch around my stomach in the past two weeks - not stellar results, but right now I will take them!! But still about 5 pounds heavier than I was at the beginning of the month. Frustrating, but I can't undo that I can only change now, and now, and now :)
