On Track - Day 12

I had a good day yesterday. I got my steps in I walked 12,022, walked for 50 mins., strength training exercises and 20 mins of low impact step. It was -22, but I bundled up and went out, I think that makes me walk faster plus I burn more fat trying to keep warm. Lets Hope....The one thing that is missing in my exercise routine is The Shred (Jillian Michaels) I don't know if any of you have done this video, but let me tell you it sure does work you out. The thing I like about the shred it is only a 20 min workout, believe me that's the only thing I like about it. It is hard and it makes you get a sweat on..Even my 18 yo son has tried it and he couldn't believe how hard it was, he said pretty good for an old lady like me..LOL. I have seen really good results from this DVD in the past. With the incorporation of weights and cardio it is a great workout. I have to start back on level 3 because I like those exercised better than level 1 & 2. One thing is for sure I have not lost my enthusiasm for exercising I think I am past that and I am on my way to achieve my goals. Today I am a little anxious I am going out with the girls for our bi-weekly lunch date. I cancelled the last date because I knew I was not ready. Today I feel that I will make the right choices and not over due it.
Confidence is the best makeover around!!

    You can go out with the girls and make great sensible choice for lunch, and make the focus on them and not about the food!
