Yesterday was a BAD day!!!

Sunday, January 23, 2011

I ate terrible stuff yesterday! It started off with Burger King for breakfast and went downhill from there! I attended a bridal fair with my sister who'll be getting married next summer. We sampled lots of brisket, cake, cookies, and more! I also drank 2 bottles of pop, another downfall of mine. I almost forgot about the girl scout cookies my mom bought!!!

I never worked out last night, I had woke up early spent the day at the bridal fair, done some shopping with mom, then came home to laundry that couldn't be dried b/c of the dryer breaking down so I had to take it to my mom's. I had a delicious Mexican dinner out with my husband. It all showed back up on the scale this morning too! I was exhausted by the end of the night!

You can always restart with the next meal or the next day. So you don't have to beat yourself up...

Good thing ONE bad day does not a disaster make! The disaster is when we get discouraged and give up. So what? You had yourself a cheat day! I for one will never stick with a plan that sais I can NEVER have anything. You enjoyed the bridal fair, dinner with your husband, and TOMORROW you'll enjoy some exercise and some healthy food! It's a journey and you're doing great!

We all have days like that, don't expect yourself to be perfect. lYesterday wasn't a bad day, you overdid it on the taste sensations, ... but you recognize that and will learn. If you learned and are able to put it into action then it was a fine day. After a day like that, I feel better getting in extra fitness minutes.

I'm right there with you but today is a new day. And I agree aith Val that weighing the day after a food fest is never a good idea.

Everyone back tracks sooner or later! I know I do! You wll be able to get back on track...Usually when I go off course, I drink a little extra water, and I wont even think about touching the scale for at least a week...just helps me not to dwell on it too much. Dont let it get you down! emoticon

You will get back on track. Don't let it get you down. Pop is a downfall for me too.

One day does not spell failure, only a bigger reason to get back on track. emoticon

I think that when you have a binge day it's not a really good idea for your psyche to get on the scale the next morning...get back on track wait a week and then weigh yourself...I only weigh myself once a week...
