Half pounds on digital scale

I am still tracking my food, although I guestimate the calories for many things. The important thing is that I write down what I eat, and that helps me stay on track. Night time snacking is still my problem.
I know that if I cut out sugar entirely, I'd make more progress. But I like my new scale that's digital, and i know if I lost half a pound. I used to think people were silly counting half pounds, but now I can relate!
I started out 3 weeks ago at 185.6 and then went down to 184.8 and yesterday I was 183.6. ..so it's 2 lbs this month. Now that I'm more aware of the health aspects of having this extra weight around my waist...I have to admit, it's influencing me.
I'm just eating less, and eating (mostly) only when I'm hungry, and cutting down on the wheat bread. My staple starch - whole wheat pita bread.
