And 3 Brownies later...

Last night I found a recipe for brownies that I wanted to try. I had enough calories left over for one and that is what I said I would have, but well that is not what happened. emoticon. I am trying to develop a collection of recipes for my home catering business ( I know kind of weird for someone trying to lose weight!) and so I had to try this one. But I did learn from this slip up- I have not found a low calorie brownie version I like so I will develop my own. emoticon

For the most part I have been doing well with my calorie intake but I need to really get the exercise going. It has been hard with the weather being so bad but no excuses. This morning I walked up and down the stairs for 10 min and even broke a sweat
emoticon. So it is a start!

This morning started off good with breakfast and I ma having lunch with a friend today so I know I need to make some smart choices as not to ruin my calories for today.

I am off for my morning walk and then to meet my friend for lunch. emoticon

So 3 brownies later and I am still motivated to do well. I will let you all know how the low cal brownies turn out when I make them.

    Love brownies. I saw in the latest issue of Weight Watchers magazine (I think that's where I saw it) a brownie recipe where they substitute puree black beans for some of the ingredients. I haven't tried it but.... you may want to

    Good for you! I read your blog thinking you might have been beating yourself up over the brownies but you had a real healthy response! Yeah you!! One thing I have found to be a tasty fat alternative in brownie recipes is to use prune puree in place of fat...you might want to experiement with this..the flavor gets lost and is actually complimentary with chocolate flavor. Anyway, great way to keep your focus and motivation!
