This isn't so much about food, but about a journey. Six years ago I tripped over a little black crate at a Pet Expo Adoptathon. I wasn't looking of another dog yet. I wanted a Corgi and had been in touch with a breeder. But a pair of brown eyes caught me! I notice a tag on the crate - this dog was given two days to be adopted. She was suppose to have been euthanized the Friday before. I walked away, and walked back, and away, and back, etc. Then I left completed with my friends and went to the cat show next door. As we were leaving, my friend said "Before we leave, is there anything else we need to do?" Yes, I thought, I need to save Brown Eyes. Brown Eyes came out of that crate a walking skelton, all bones. She could barely more. But she tried so hard! For 50 bucks, I saved Brown Eyes! Six years later, the dog I didn't think would live a month, became a Champion. CPE Agility Team Champion.
