I was supposed to have one daycare boy today, but they called and he was sick. So, I had the day off! I decided to go to the gym this morning. (I didn't think I would be able to today because of daycare.) I had a good time exercising while listening to Dennis Jernigan and Happenin' Hymns Vol 1&2. It sure made the time go by fast and I went 1/2 mile farther on the elliptical than I did yesterday.

Afterwards, I did a few errands and went to Wal-Mart and got a new pair of exercise pants.

This afternoon, I sparked, then quilted on my daughter's quilt.

Tonight my granddaughter is here for an overnight. It was so fun watching her play. She brought her doll which I gave her at Christmas. My son said it is her favorite toy now.

Fri. 1/7

1) Blog daily emoticon

2) Lose 5 lbs ... (halfway there I have lost 2.5 lbs)

3)Exercise daily for at least 20 min. emoticon

4) workout at least 3x's a week at gym emoticon#4

5) Strength Training 3x's a week emoticon #3

6) Drink a min of 8 glasses of water ea day. emoticon (10+)

7) Follow a low-carb diet emoticon -- I wanted oatmeal for breakfast this morning, then has a coconut macaroon sample at Sprouts. But, I didn't go over my calorie count.

    Carbs are important, not sure why you are trying to do low carb. Oatmeal has so many benefits. You are a great inspiration to me.

    Yeah for your new exercise pants and an unexpected chance to work out and shopping at Walmart and quilting and praise music and time with granddaughter!!!

    Don't you love those unexpected "vacation" days??

    Quilts?? I LOVE quilts, just wish I could figure out this darn sewing maching thing!UGH!

    Cathy, you can upload your CD's to your computer and transfer them to a inexpensive MP3 player....thats what I did and SO happy I did it!

    You are doing great! emoticon Don't feel bad if you are not 100% perfect. Setting goals is a guideline, meeting most of them is fantastic, nothing to frown about emoticon

    PS. I love exercising to uplifting music too. I am still in the dark ages and walk with a CD player, but years of my good music are on cds! emoticon don't want to pay to buy them on itunes...
